It is problematical to decide in which order doctrines should be presented. Some start with God; others start with the Bible because it is the main source of one's knowledge of God. Those who start with God generally approach doctrine from a philosophical point of view. Those who start with the Bible generally approach doctrine from a Biblical point of view. The approach of this website will be the latter. The philosophical aspects, however, will be considered in their appropriate place. Doctrines will be considered under the following nine headings. Each heading will have a brief explanation, and you can click to the page and its subdivisions involving that doctrine. Under consideration is a summary of various doctrines which may not have been covered under the main ones.
1. BIBLE--This section will discuss the doctrine that the
Bible is the Word of God which is the division of Theology known as
Bibliology. Separate web pages are devoted to
Animation,
considering that the Bible has
vitality; Authority and Canonicity, which discusses
the canon of the Bible and the authoritativeness of the
Bible; Illumination, which examines the need
and nature of divine illumination to understand the things of God;
Inspiration, dealing with the receiving of God's
Word for the purpose of accurately recording it;
Interpretation, which studies the two main methods
of interpretation; and
Revelation, which has to do with God making
Himself know to mankind. The final section has to do with the
Preservation of the Word of God in the
Bible.
2.
GOD--This section will discuss the doctrine of
God apart from His works. It will include the basic
discussion of the Godhead: God the Father, God
the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as
well as the doctrine of the Trinity. This
section covers the division of Theology known as Theology Proper.
This section includes, also, as separate web pages a discussion of
Agnosticism
and Atheism.
3.

Angels, unfallen and fallen. It will deal separately with

is covered in three pages. The first (Click on button) considers the
doctrine of salvation and the Person of the Savior as well
as His suffering and death. The matter of divine election and the work

consummating matters, and some summary matters are discussed.

our blessed Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Although covered, in
